Theory of Care: Saffron Tea Ritual was conceived as an invitation to transform the preparation and drinking of saffron tea into a deliberate act of attention and care.
Centered around saffron sourced from Afghanistan, the work brought together object, ingredient, instruction, and gesture to create a ritual intended to be performed within everyday life. Produced as an edition and made available for purchase, each set allowed the ritual to be carried into and activated within the home.
